Not sure if you guys have seen or heard of this, but it's called onlive and it apparently let's you play games on your pc, mac or tv without needing to have a high end gaming machine. It looks like it all works from the servers, so basicly the servers will be handeling and doing all the work. It looks interesting and I've signed up for the beta, but I don't think it's going to change gaming a whole lot, well not for me anyways. Plus I'm pretty sure you're going to need a really go connection if you want to play those games in HD.

If you guys want to learn more or maybe even sign up for the beta, here's the link - http://www.onlive.com/index.html

Here's some basic info from the site about onlive -

Connect to OnLive with your TV, PC or Mac and start a game.
Your game runs in a state-of-the-art OnLive game server center.
OnLive connects you to game servers through the Internet, instantly sending your controller actions upstream and the results back. downstream at blinding fast speeds.
Enjoy ultra high-performance gameplay on your TV or entry-level PC or Mac.

Try before you buy
Demo games or watch top players.

Any game, instantly
No big download or installs.

High octane games in HD
No high-end hardware required.

State-of-the-art gaming
Always the latest titles running smooth as silk.

Massive spectating

I dont know, what you guys think? Is it going to be a hit or miss?

Big big hughe miss.

Why?...Latency. The problem is the communication with the server and the updating of the game state, this could easily add up to 250/500MS ping. Therefore most games wont want to use this.
